December 2024 Release
This month our development team focused on improving product the customer experience of using Adaptive Catalog and Storefront.
Updated logic around “Always Available on Storefront” to include the case when no cost information is available from any distributors. Previously these products would not be visible on storefront. Now, as long as a minimum price is set, the product will show up with that minimum price.
Added “Storefront Bundle” filter to workspace open panel. This will allow you to quickly search for workspaces listed as bundles on any storefront.
We have started work on a new customizable table for settings and reports. To start with, this table will be available for Storefront Orders, but will be expanding to other areas of the product in the coming months. You can not only customize the columns displayed, but you can now save and share these customized columns, as well as export to CSV.
When a user has no favorited products and has not started a search, a message “Begin New Search” will be displayed instead of “No Results Found”
Revamped Home Page - We have updated the look and feel of the home page of Adaptive Catalog to better surface the actions our users most often look for. You can now quickly search for products and workspaces directly on the home page as well as see Storefront activity (if Storefront is enabled). You will still see your recently accessed workspaces and favorites, however the UI for these has been updated.
User Tours - We have started adding some simple walkthroughs of the product directly into Adaptive Catalog to help new users become familiar with the product, or let existing users know about changes to the UI / UX. All users should now see a “Welcome to Adaptive Catalog” tour when logging into the home page for the first time, guiding them through the new home page. Clicking on the “X” will dismiss the tour if you want to skip it.
Added User Feedback - You can now submit feature requests directly inside of Adaptive Catalog! From any page, simply click your user icon, and there will be a “Feature Requests” option. After putting in a few details, the feature request will be added to our development triage list to be reviewed. If we have any additional questions, someone on our team may reach out to you for clarification.
Bug Fixes
Resolved an issue where product edits would not save if the product details panel was opened via the quick search results instead of the product search results
Resolved an issue where the save button would get stuck in a greyed out state when saving a storefront and missing the required selection “Payment Processor Mode".
Added additional vendor rename display locations
Updated the Autotask integration to be more permissive with accepted URLs. Now including more information than just the domain, such as /ATServicesRest/ will not cause the extension to fail.
Improved the “Teams Dark” theme and custom dark themes on Storefront to increase readability.
Resolved some integration issues when onboarding from Cloudradial
Navigating to an invalid URL on storefront for bundles, products, and saved search products will now display a friendly error and a link back to the home page.
Resolved an issue with scroll bars getting locked on Microsoft Edge on Windows in Storefront in certain situations.
