NOTE: Version 1 of our API will be sunset July 2024. Please make sure you migrate to at least version 2. Version 4 will be released in July, however the preview environment will have version 4 APIs available to use starting in May 2024.

The following features were released in April.

  • Added new Kaseya BMS Login Flow - The Adaptive Catalog button has been enabled in the latest Kaseya BMS release. This allows you to quickly open Adaptive Catalog from any quote in your Kaseya BMS system. If the Kaseya BMS quote export extension is installed, the quote number will already be selected, so you can quickly push items from your workspace to your Kaseya quote.

  • New products from real time extensions now flow to UI - Real time extensions can now find new product matches (such as for newly released or added products). When a match is found, the data simply appears in the vendor column.

  • Allow setting PunchOut currency for an organization - You can now set the currency that is returned in the PunchOut response. No currency conversion occurs, but this can resolve an issue with ConnectWise CPQ displaying a warning every time you punch out if your quote currency is not set to USD.

Quickly change your facet filters with the new Quick Change for Facets feature

  • Quick Change for Facets - Quickly change must have, nice to have, must not have filters using the same behavior as tags.

  • Country Codes for TD Synnex, D&H, and Ingram Extensions - During install, or when updating the extensions, you can now specify country codes for Ingram Micro, TD Synnex, and D&H extensions. Currently US and CA are the only supported countries for these extensions.

  • CDW Real Time Extension (Preview) - Pull CDW data in real time, including price and detailed availability (if available). This extension is currently in preview, so reach out to the Adaptive Catalog team if you would like to use this for your organization.

Exclude specific vendors from the Best Price column

  • Best Price Vendor Exclusions - Often users do not want to include their CRM / PSA in the best price calculation. You can now globally exclude specific vendors. In addition, you can exclude at search time additional vendors (such as if you only wanted to price compare between two specific vendors for upcoming orders).

  • Use Desired Quantity for Add to Workspace - If you specify the desired quantity when searching items, this will now be sent to the workspace when adding items. If the item already exists on your workspace, the quantity will be increased by the desired quantity amount. If no desired quantity is set, the previous behavior of adding / increasing by one is used.

  • Column Customization examples for Dense & Best Price - You can now see examples of the dense vendor columns and the best price column when customizing your columns

  • Advanced Search Option - Keywords to Tags - This enables a UI change where keywords are moved into the quick tags area. It can be enabled at the user level under Settings >> Search Settings

Bug Fixes

  • Dense Vendor Info column bug fixes - In edge cases you were sometimes presented with duplicate information in the dense vendor columns. These should now be resolved
